The Greene Murder Case is a pre-Code mystery film directed by Frank Tuttle, based on the novel of the same name by S.S. Van Dine. This is Paramount's second Philo Vance adaptation after The Canary Murder Case (my review) , also starring William Powell in the lead role, and co-starring Jean Arthur, albeit here in a different and somewhat larger role.
