8 de may. de 2022 · Sands of Iwo Jima kent misschien weinig verrassingen, het is een vaardig gemaakt oorlogsdrama. Zoals vaak met dit soort films moet je er de aandacht bij houden wie wie is, en ik moest Wikipedia erbij pakken om te zien wie nou sneuvelde op die heuvel (één van de broers zo blijkt).Ook blijkt dan dat drie van de originele flag bearers een bijrolletje hebben, een grappig detail.
