Chesley Burnett "Sully" Sullenberger III (born January 23, 1951) is an American retired fighter pilot, diplomat, and airline pilot. He is best known for his actions as captain of US Airways Flight 1549 on January 15, 2009, when he ditched the plane, landing on the Hudson River after both engines were disabled by a bird strike.
Sully est un film américain coproduit et réalisé par Clint Eastwood et sorti en 2016.Il s'agit d'un film biographique inspiré d'un fait vécu, l'amerrissage forcé du vol US Airways 1549 sur le fleuve Hudson, réussi par le pilote Chesley « Sully » Sullenberger en janvier 2009.Il est adapté du livre Highest Duty (2009) écrit par le pilote avec l'auteur Jeffrey Zaslow.
