Paul McGann, né le 14 novembre 1959 à Liverpool, est un acteur britannique. Il se fait connaître en 1986 dans le rôle de Percy Toplis dans le téléfilm The Monocled Mutineer et reste principalement connu pour son rôle dans le film de 1987 Withnail et moi et pour avoir interprété le Huitième Docteur , dans le téléfilm Le Seigneur du Temps .
Paul McGann (born November 14, 1959) is an English actor who made his name on The Monocled Mutineer, in which he played the lead role. He is also known for his role in Withnail and I, and for portraying the Eighth Doctor in the 1996 Doctor Who television movie as well as other media that features his incarnation of the character.
Life and career. McGann was born in Kensington, Liverpool to a metallurgist father also named Joe, and a teacher mother named Clare..
