Raoul Walsh, de son vrai nom Albert Edward Walsh, est un réalisateur américain, né le 11 mars 1887 à New York et mort le 31 décembre 1980 à Simi Valley en Californie (États-Unis) [1], [2]. Membre fondateur de l'académie des Oscars, il est le frère de l'acteur du cinéma muet George Walsh.
