Larry Heard, également connu sous le pseudonyme Mr. Fingers est un musicien et disc jockey américain né le 31 mai 1960 à Chicago et mondialement connu pour la house music qu'il a composée et produite dans les années 1980 et 1990. Il forme le groupe Fingers Inc. avec Robert Owens et Ron Wilson.

21 de jul. de 2023 · Credited as the godfather of deep house, Larry Heard began his career playing percussion in jazz-fusion groups before becoming fascinated by synthesizers and drum machines. Heard made his recording debut in 1985 as the It (a collaboration with street poet Harry Dennis), releasing the singles "Donnie" and "Gallimaufry Gallery."
