Welcome to Simon Bowley- Handmade ceramics. I am a potter living and working at Moss Vale in the Southern highlands of New South Wales, Australia. My work is mainly wheel and hand formed ceramics. I am intrigued by the challenges involved in making objects that are practical as well as aesthetically refined.
The new millennium saw a new line-up, still led by Masters but now comprising Simon Bowley on drums (nephew of original drummer Steve Nicol), Dipster Dean on bass and Gary Loker on guitar.
now fronted by ian ‘dipster’ dean on vocals, with simon bowley on drums and richard holgarth on guitar this line up has been the core of eddie & the hot rods for the last couple of decades. JOINED BY BASSIST MIC STONER AND WITH A NEW ERA AHEAD, THEY BEGAN TO WRITE SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM AND BY 2022, GUARDIANS OF THE LEGACY WAS COMPLETE.

As of 2022 Department S comprise Phil Thompson (lead vocals and guitar), Mike Lea (bass and backing vocals) and Simon Bowley (drums and backing vocals.) Their most recent single "Burn Down Tomorrow", the title track of the forthcoming studio album, was released in September 2022.
