Percy Heath (Wilmington, Carolina del Norte, 30 de abril de 1923-Southampton, Nueva York, 28 de abril del 2005) fue un contrabajista de jazz estadounidense, hermano del saxofonista tenor Jimmy Heath (James Edward Heath, n. 1926) y del baterista Albert "Tootie" Heath, con quienes formó el conjunto Heath Brothers en 1975.
Percy Heath (April 30, 1923 – April 28, 2005) was an American jazz bassist, brother of saxophonist Jimmy Heath and drummer Albert Heath, with whom he formed the Heath Brothers in 1975.
Biography. A product of one of jazz’s most illustrious families, Percy Heath and his sublime, swinging bass served as the cornerstone of the Modern Jazz Quartet for over four decades. Heath was born in Wilmington, NC, on April 23, 1930.
