Jacques Bizet (10 July 1872 – 3 November 1922) was a French physician and businessman best known for his long friendship with novelist Marcel Proust. He was the son of composer Georges Bizet, who died when the boy was three and before his works gained success. His mother was Geneviève Halévy, who became known as a literary hostess.

Jacques Bizet (* 10. Juli 1872 in Paris; † 3. November 1922 ebenda) war ein französischer Unternehmer und Schriftsteller. Er war der Sohn des Komponisten Georges Bizet. Nachdem sein Vater starb, als Bizet drei Jahre alt war, heiratete seine Mutter Geneviève Halévy Bizet den Anwalt Émile Straus.
In 1872 Genevieve was delivered of a son, Jacques. Still buoyed by this happy event, Bizet completed the music for L'Arlésienne and it went into production. The score is one of Bizet's most subtle, intriguing and rewarding, though it is virtually never heard in its original context – as incidental music to a play which is where it works best.

Bizet's son Jacques killed himself in 1922 after an unhappy love affair. Jean Reiter, Bizet's elder son, had a successful career as press director of Le Temps , became an Officer of the Legion of Honour, and died in 1939 at the age of 77.
