This “visual short circuit” creates a parallel world where two or more environments coexist exchanging energetically in a continuous dialogue.
El pintor italiano Salvatore Alessi juega con la realidad y la abstracción en sus obras de óleo. Estas escenas parecen referenciar la física del mundo real como una existencia interna. Alessi cita nombres como Velasquez, Goya, Picasso, Bacon y Freud como influencias.
Salvatore Alessi was born in Sicily, Italy, in 1974. After art school, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, specializing in scenography. Then he started working as a scenographer realizing theatrical sets for the Politeama Theatre of Palermo, and the Massimo Theatre of Catania.
