Jeremy Enigk ( / ˈiːnɪk /; born July 16, 1974) is an American singer-songwriter, vocalist and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist. He is known as a solo artist, a film score composer, and as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist of the Seattle -based bands Sunny Day Real Estate and The Fire Theft .

Blunk takes over lead vocals for “Wheeler” and “Tourmaline” (a duet with soon-to-be-ex-Sunny Day Real Estate frontman Jeremy Enigk), and his gentler, subtler approach provides helpful contrast to Roberts’ desperation.
Jeremy Enigk's feature on "Tourmaline" suffers massive consequences from these woes. This track is a mess...and clearly the low point of the album for me. Hag seed is growing on me with every listen, to the point that I can call this album a "lost-gem" of its era.
