William Henry Hugh Cholmondeley, 3rd Marquess of Cholmondeley (/ ˈ tʃ ʌ m l i / CHUM-lee; 31 March 1800 – 16 December 1884), styled Lord Henry Cholmondeley from 1815 until 1870, was a British peer and Conservative Member of Parliament.
Lord Cholmondeley was childless and was succeeded by his younger brother, the third Marquess. He sat as Member of Parliament for Castle Rising and South Hampshire . As he outlived most of his children, including the elder son, the third Marquess was succeeded in his titles by his grandson. [1]

He voted against Jewish emancipation, 17 May, and to consider the abolition of colonial slavery, 13 July 1830. Ministers counted Cholmondeley among their ‘friends’ after the general election that summer, and he was in their minority on the civil list, 15 Nov. 1830.
