Isabella Mary Abbott (December 23, 1890 – November 26, 1955) was a Canadian artist and the mother of actor Christopher Plummer. Life. Abbott was born in Quebec City, the daughter of Marianne J. (Campbell) and Arthur Edward Abbott, and the granddaughter of Prime Minister Sir John Abbott.
Isabella Mary Abbott was the granddaughter of Sir John Abbott, third Prime Minister of Canada (1891-92). She came from a cultured and wealthy Senneville (Quebec) family.
He was the only child of John Orme Plummer (1894–1977), who sold stocks and other securities, and Isabella Mary Abbott, who worked as secretary to the Dean of Sciences at McGill University, and was the granddaughter of Canadian prime minister Sir John Abbott.
