For the past 42 years, Badgers fans from each corner of the state — along with those from out of state — travel to Madison on the last Saturday of April for the Crazylegs Classic! Their love of UW-Madison, Wisconsin Athletics, and the City of Madison brings them back year after year.
The Crazylegs Classic will happen rain or shine. If conditions exist that make the event unsafe, then the race will be cancelled. Social media accounts (X and Facebook) for Wisconsin Athletics will be the fastest location of race status information on race day.
27 de abr. de 2024 · The last Saturday of April each spring, over 10,000 Badgers descend downtown State Street to kick off the Crazylegs Classic. Not surprisingly, the idea for this event was hatched in late 1981 by three Badger loyalists at a campus bar.
