  1. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) curriculum combines the intensive studio culture of the Department of Art with open access to elective classes in all areas of Cornell University.

Within the departmental curriculum, the first three semesters provide six introductory, medium-specific studio classes (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, print media, and MAPS: media arts, performance, and sound) along with an intensive art seminar.
