Vladimir Abramovich Etush (Russian: Влади́мир Абра́мович Э́туш; 6 May 1922 – 9 March 2019) was a Soviet and Russian film and theater actor of Jewish descent. People's Artist of the USSR (1984).

Полный кавалер ордена «За заслуги перед Отечеством». Ветеран Великой Отечественной войны [4] .
Vladimir Etush is best known for his role as Comrade Saakhov, a hilarious groom in a popular Soviet comedy Kidnapping, Caucasian Style (1967) by director Leonid Gaidai. Vladimir Etush was designated People's Actor of the USSR (1984).

The famous Soviet theater and movie actor Vladimir Etush was born into a Jewish family in Moscow in 1922. In the context of the general economic situation in the country of those years, the family was well off.
Vladimir Etush, whose career spanned from 1944 and ended only this year, passed away in Moscow on March 9. At 96, he was probably Russia's oldest working actor before the Vakhtangov Theater cancelled Benefis, the show where he played a central role (which included dressing up as a woman), due to the actor's health problems.
