28 de sept. de 2007 · Here's a twist you probably don't need: In AE, you could say, " She was accepted into college ,' (no article in front of 'college') but you could not say " She was accepted into university." With 'university' you need either the article or the proper name.

20 de mar. de 2014 · She has been accepted at York University. The relevant word definitions, by the way: admit — to allow to enter; grant or afford entrance to: "to admit a student to college." accept — To admit to a group, organization, or place: "accepted me as a new member of the club." Share.
Accepted into a course is American English. Accepted onto a course is more common in British English.
