Welcome to the former estate of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and his son Adrian. The historic Quinta da Bella Vista was formerly the property of the famous British writer and father of “Sherlock Holmes,” Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (22 May 1859 – 7 July 1930), who lived with his family starting in 1890.
Klinger v. Conan Doyle Estate, Ltd. was a 2014 decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit (755 F.3d 496), in response to an appeal filed by the defendants against the 2013 ruling of the U.S. District Court for Northern district of Illinois (988 F. Supp. 2d 879).
