Katherine ''Kate'' Barlow, (September 17th ,1882-October 12th. 1924), also known as Kissin' Kate Barlow, was a former teacher-turned-outlaw at Green Lake, Texas. Miss Katherine was born in Green Lake, Texas on September 12th, 1882.
Katherine “Kate” Barlow is a sweet and intelligent woman who teaches in a one-room school house on Green Lake one hundred and ten years before it becomes Camp Green Lake. She falls in love with Sam, the man who sells onions in the town, because he is kind, strong, and smart.
The story of Kissin' Kate seemed like it deserved its own movie.... I've combined all of the Kate Barlow scenes from the movie, Holes, and formed a short movie.

Miss Katherine was a schoolteacher in 1880s Green Lake who fell in love with Sam, an African-American onion seller. She became an outlaw named Kissin' Kate Barlow after a mob attacked the schoolhouse and killed Sam.
