Pinkerton is the second studio album by the American rock band Weezer, released on September 24, 1996, by DGC Records. The guitarist and vocalist Rivers Cuomo wrote most of Pinkerton while studying at Harvard University, after abandoning plans for a rock opera, Songs from the Black Hole.

24 de sept. de 1996 · When it first came out way back in 1996 it was an album that divided fans and it was an album the press hated. When people give a piece of themselves in a moment of honesty, I think it's a beautiful thing - especially in art.
