Harold Hankins Hopper (July 29, 1907 – December 17, 1988), known professionally as Jerry Hopper, was an American film and television director, active from the mid-1940s through the early 1970s.
Jerry Hopper. Director: The Private War of Major Benson. After moving to California in the 1930s, Jerry Hopper worked as an editor at Paramount Studios. During World War II he joined the Army and worked as a combat photographer where he was awarded a Purple Heart.
After the war, Hopper returned to Hollywood where he graduated to directing. After working prolifically in film during the Fifties, Hopper switched to television where he went on to direct over 600 episodes before effectively retiring in the early 1970s.

Jerry Hopper (July 29, 1907 - December 17, 1988) was an American film and television director, active from the mid-1940s through the early 1970s. He was an editor at Paramount Pictures before moving to the directors' chair for several installments of their Musical Parade series (1946–48).
