Moya is a female Leviathan transport vessel; a living sentient bio-mechanical space ship, who was once captured by the Peacekeepers. She escaped captivity along with the people imprisoned on her by the Peacekeepers.
Farscape features a diverse ensemble of characters who are initially escaping from corrupt authorities in the form of a militaristic organization called the Peacekeepers. The protagonists live inside a large bio-mechanical ship called Moya which is a living entity.
Talyn was widely anticipated to be one of the most powerful ships around by the time he reached maturity. He was young and was dwarfed by his mother Moya, although he did grow gradually over the series.

Lo'La was the name given to a ship the crew of Moya found drifting in space outside of a commerce station. It turned out to be a powerful and ancient Luxan warship, an Eradicator of Toproktin design, and Ka D'Argo "adopted" it as his own and named it after his late wife.

Farscape follows John Crichton, a Han Solo-like leader who commands a ship into unknown dangers. Farscape's aliens, made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop, still hold up in a series far ahead of its time.
