After reading countless posts referring to Dr. Lawrence Gordon as a Jigsaw (John Kramer’s) apprentice, I just wanted to write a short post trying to give some kind of clarification towards this common misconception.
Dr. Lawrence Gordon, also known as Larry, is a fictional character from the Saw franchise. He serves as one of the primary protagonists of the first Saw film, a minor unseen antagonist in Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, and Saw V, and the tertiary protagonist of Saw 3D. He is portrayed by Cary Elwes.
