Hester Grenville, 1st Countess Temple, 2nd Viscountess Cobham ( née Temple; c. 1690 –1752) was an English noblewoman. She was the mother and grandmother of the Prime Ministers George Grenville and William Grenville .
Hester Grenville nee Temple, 1st Countess Temple, 2nd Viscountess Cobham (c. 1690–1752) married Richard Grenville (1679-1726) only son of Richard Grenville of Wooton-under-Barnwood by his wife and step-sister Eleanor Temple, only daughter of Sir Peter Temple, of Stanton Barry.

The first Grenville to sit for Buckingham was Richard (1678-1727), who transferred from Wendover at the 1722 general election. He had married Hester Temple, the sister and heiress of Sir Richard Temple, Viscount Cobham; she was created Countess Temple on succeeding to the Temple country residence of Stowe in 1749 (now a famous public school).
