Westport High School was a public high school located at 315 East 39th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. It was part of the Kansas City, Missouri School District. A trowel was used to lay the cornerstone of the school on June 8, 1907.

Westport is a historic neighborhood and a main entertainment district in Kansas City, Missouri. In the early 1800s, West Port was settled by a group led by American pioneer and tribal missionary Reverend Isaac McCoy, who brought his son John Calvin McCoy as surveyor, and his son-in-law Reverend Johnston Lykins who bought the land.

In 1885 Westport was recognized as a high school (under state law), making it the second recognized high school in the state of Missouri. Westport moved to 39th and Warwick Blvd in 1891. School was opened every day with a Bible selection.
