The auxiliary verb "have" and the negative particle "not" can be contracted without changing the meaning, and only slightly changing the formality. "Haven't" doesn't mean "not completed". However the sentences are both wrong: "or a long time" or "in a long time". Share.
El uso de haven’t en inglés genera confusión porque have tiene dos funciones: El verbo principal, es decir tener y el verbo auxiliar, haber. Ambos son diferentes a la hora de conjugarlos en negativo y en pregunta tanto en la conjugación presente como en el pasado.
El present simple en negativa del verbo have en inglés. Tras haber visto la teoría general del present simple, ahora vamos a ver el verbo to have en negativa. Aunque parezca lógico que para expresar No tengo… digamos I haven’t… vamos a ver que no es así. Usaremos don’t.
